Recueil de 20 planches dessinées par le peintre et illustrateur Compte-Calix, gravées sur acier et coloriées à la main, quelques rousseurs dans les marges à la planche 3 (Paysanne, France), sinon rares rousseurs dans les marges, brunissures aux pages de garde. Serpentes de protection sauf pour la planche 4.
