Motivation Behind the Work:"This piece was created as a live drawing event tribute to Vincent Van Gogh. With this piece, I really wanted to focus on the movement Van Gogh often expresses in his work as well as the cypress trees he so loved to paint."

He was awarded a 6 month artist residency in Kinston, NC in 2023. Hes been showcased in multiple solo and group exhibitions across the United States.

Joshua provided the cover art for James Cherrys re-release of his highly acclaimed novel, "Edge of the Wind." Joshuas art has also been the subject and study of a collegiate art class at Union University in Jackson, TN as well as features in multiple print, news, and web publications. Most recently, Joshua has been honored to have his art hanging in the prestigious Frist Art Museum in downtown Nashville, TN.
